I’ve been looking at this tonight, and I think it’s pretty ridiculous.
The Noun Project collects, organizes and adds to the highly recognizable symbols that form the world’s visual language, so we may share them in a fun and meaningful way.
Umm.. why? I suppose what annoys me most about this project is that it has managed to crowd source nearly $15,000 of funding from Kickstarter. What on earth is the need for that money to make a bunch of symbols “for fun”? There are so many amazing, groundbreaking innovations out there and the general public have pleged THAT MUCH MONEY to a project that just wants to make symbols?!
What is the world coming to.
